Whitney Strickland, LSW
PRESIDENT
Whitney Strickland serves as the Board President of Rho Chi Community, UPLIFT, Inc. (RCCU), where she is committed to advancing the organization’s mission to connect individuals and families with resources and supportive services. Whitney is passionate about strengthening the organization’s foundation, fostering meaningful community partnerships, and creating opportunities for financial growth and collective impact. In addition to her leadership at RCCU, Whitney serves on the Board of Action Wellness, formerly Action AIDS, where she previously held the roles of Board President and Secretary. Through her involvement with the Development Committee, she has contributed to fundraising initiatives such as “Dining Out for Life” and “Black Tie Gay Bingo”, supporting HIV/AIDS programs and services. With her Board leadership experience and professional background as a medical social worker, Whitney brings an empathic, person-centered approach to community engagement.

Lavonia A. Page brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, and organizational development to Rho Chi Community UPLIFT, Inc. (RCCU). Through her work with Episcopal Community Services in Philadelphia, she has connected individuals and families with essential resources, strengthened community partnerships, and created opportunities that support underserved populations. As a former Chapter President of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Rho Chi Zeta Chapter, Lavonia has demonstrated a commitment to service, strategic planning, and organizational growth. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Strategic Leadership at Liberty University, where her research focuses on leadership development and effectiveness within nonprofit organizations. Lavonia brings a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to RCCU, with a passion for turning ideas into meaningful action and lasting community impact.

Director
Dr. Stephanie Allen-Savage is an educator, equity strategist, and dedicated community leader with more than a decade of experience advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across higher education and independent schools. As the Director of Equity, Diversity & Belonging and Chief Diversity Officer at Montgomery County Community College, she leads institution-wide efforts to cultivate inclusive excellence, strengthen organizational culture, and create meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, and staff.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Allen-Savage held diversity leadership positions at The Baldwin School, Immaculata University, and West Chester University, where she partnered with communities to foster belonging and support student success. Deeply committed to service, Dr. Allen-Savage currently serves as an elected member of the Phoenixville Area School District Board of Directors and as a member of Montgomery County's Advisory Council on Equity and Social Justice. Her previous community leadership includes service on the Phoenixville Public Library Board and the West Chester University Alumni Board. Through her professional and volunteer work, she remains a passionate advocate for educational equity, inclusive learning environments, and strong, thriving communities.
Outside of her professional and community commitments, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, Robert, their son, Samuel, and their beloved Goldendoodle, Shadow.
